[Cl: As] Term 1: Lesson three: Reading the Stars

[Mandrake Black]

Mandrake sat in his class waiting for students to show up.

[Draco Malfoy]

Draco strode into the classroom, a bored expression on his face. Taking a seat near the back, he pulled out his books and leaned back on his chair, waiting for the other students to arrive.

[Fernand Mondego]

Fernand walked into the classroom. he looked around and seen Draco Malfoy. He went and sat beside him. "Hows it going Malfoy?"he asked

Draco made a face as the other student approached him, one he didn't recognize. "Fine." He said shortly, only after clarifying the boy was, indeed, a Slytherin.

Hopefully more delightful company than Bonehead and friends.

[Lisa Turpin]

Lisa hoisted her bookbag along the corridor until she finally found the door to her Astronomy class. Pulling her bag into the classroom, she looked around at the students. Placing her books timidly on a desk far away from the Slytherins, she glanced at the door hoping more students would arrive soon.

Fin strolled in, and noticed Lisa sitting in the back of the room, away from everyone else. Great, maybe now I can get a little bit of alone-time with her, he thought to himself. "Hey babe, what's up?" he asked enthusiastically as he sat down next to her.

[Lisa Turpin]

Lisa heard footsteps approaching her and smiled when she saw Fin. "Not too much, a bit tired." She said, flipping a page in her textbook before turning back to the Ravenclaw cheerfully. "Yourself?"

[James McFinnigan]

"You know me," he said. "Just doing what I do. So, why tired? More nightmares?" he asked.

[Mandrake Black]

"Excuse me."said Mandrake getting ready to start the lesson. The students looked at him with undivided attention "Today we will be learning how to read the stars. First off there are alot of ways to read stars. The three most common ways are: star alignment, Star brightness, and star color. One that most people use is star alignment. Today i will show you how to read stars by brightness. First of all, who can tell me the most powerful star in our galaxy?" asked Mandrake

[Fernand Mondego]

Fernand raised his hand.
"Rigel sir." he said

[Mandrake Black]

"correct. Ten points to slytherin." said professor Mandrake

[Lisa Turpin]

Lisa didn't respond to Fin right away, instead she wrote a few notes on a spare piece of parchment, listening intently to Fernand's answer, her eyes slightly worried. Then, with a sigh, she turned to the Ravenclaw.

"Yeah." She finally said, her voice barely above a whisper, remembering what Apronia had said about her having to accept her fears.

Carrie was slightly late, and slipped into the classroom unnoticed. She grabbed the closest seat, which was the table behind the two slytherins in the room. Pulling out some parchment, and a quill from her bag, she turned her attention to the lesson.

jinesh saw carrie sit next to him he said....."hey carrie wassup? howz u? m fine"

Carrie turned to the Gryffindor beside her with a grin. 'Hey Jinesh, I'm good, you?' She said quite quietly, not wanting to disturb the lesson any more than she already had by entering late.
