Lisa laughed, letting out a small yelp at some water that managed to splash onto her robes. She grinned at James, pushing her hair out of her eyes. "Is it cold?" She asked with a small giggle, before stepping into the water slowly. However, a piece of seaweed wrapped around her leg and her eyes widened as she toppled over into the water, gasping as she struggled to stand upright.
Shivering, she felt her teeth chatter and sent James a sheepish grin. "I guess that answers my question," she said, making her way over to James, offering him a bright smile while her cheeks reddened from the cold.

"H-h-h-h-hi," he managed to say. "J-j-jeez, it s-s-sure is c-c-cold, isn't it?" he said through clattering teeth. "I k-k-k-kinda r-r-regret d-doing this n-n-now."

"Err yeah..." She said, feeling the snow fall onto her rapidly numbing flesh. "Completely stupid idea on my part," she said with a small embarrassed laugh. She reached up and ran a hand through James' hair, collecting the frost in her hand dropping it into the lake, watching it float away.
"It is slightly thrilling though," she said, looking at him shyly. "Even if we do manage to get sick, i'm sure there are dozens of potions that'll fix us up good as new..." she added, offering an apologetic smile.

"Y-y-y-y-yeah," he said. "My toes are completely numb," he said, laughing through his shivering. As a certain thought crossed his mind, his cheeks suddenly flared up. He was blushing like a mad man.

"Aww," Lisa managed through her chattering, grinning slightly at the adorable mess of the Ravenclaw's hair. Then, suddenly, she noticed his cheeks redden and grew worried. "Are you feeling okay?" She said hastily, abruptly clasping their hands and moving toward the shore, "I hope this didn't get you too sick- Maybe we should go," she said, concern etched into her eyes.

"No, Lisa wait!" he said, as she began to go back to shore. "I'm fine, I was just..." he trailed off, wading towards her. "Well, I was going to..." It was then that he leaned forward and kissed her.

Lisa stood stock still, her eyes wide as she felt James kiss her. Instantly, her cheeks grew bright red and she felt a nervous knot of emotion in her chest. Then, in the middle of the icy cold lake, Lisa let her other hand link with James' and closed her eyes, experiencing her first kiss.

After the kiss, Fin pulled away. It had been his first kiss, and he hadn't really known what to do at all. "Hey umm...s-s-sorry about that," he said, very nervously.

Lisa bit her lip, feeling her face flush and swallowed, looking up at James nervously, hoping it hadn't been the worst experience of his life. Entwining their fingers, Lisa locked eyes with him, noticing the brown within them slightly surprised, always having thought them black.
Then, she smiled shyly, and looked at the water between them. "N-No..." She stuttered quietly, "It's perfectly fine..."

'I hope I wasn't a total moron,' he thought to himself. "H-hey, what's say we get out of this feezing water?" he asked, as they held hands with one another.

Lisa nodded, shuddering as if just completely aware of how freezing it was. Offering him a small smile, she followed him through the ice cold water, and chewed her bottom lip thoughtfully. "I'm freezing!" She finally exclaimed, gripping onto James' hands tighter and grinning a little.

"Y-yeah, it is really cold, isn't it?" As they finally got out of the water and onto the shore, he put his shoes back on. "Hey, I think I know a drought charm that should dry us up. Well, ladies first," he said, getting out his wand and pointing it at her. He said the charm, still though slightly chattering teeth. "And now, I suppose it's my turn,' he said, giving her the wand. "Would you mind drying me off please?" he asked politely.

Instantly feeling her numb flesh begin to warm up, Lisa let out a relieved sigh and smiled gratefully at James, accepting the wand he held out, as hers was a little ways away next to her book. Repeating his spell, she looked at him with a tiny grin. "That's much better!" She said, rubbing her hands together.
Then, feeling playful once again, she held his wand up in front of him. "You don't want this back, do you?" She asked innocently as it dangled from her slightly frozen fingertips.

"Oh, I do believe I do," he said, lightly plucking the wand from between her fingers. "Well, that was rather fun if I do say so myself. Rather cold though. Maybe we could do it again sometime, when it's just a little bit warmer,' Fin said, tucking his wand away in his robes.

Lisa watched him pocket his wand with a small smile, and walked over to the edge of the lake, collecting her book and wand. "It was pretty fun," she said, looking at him brightly, "Though, you're right, it probably will be loads more fun when we're not freezing to death." She added, with a slight laugh.
Then, putting her wand away as well, she hoisted the book under her arm and walked up to Fin, looking at him, suddenly shy, and biting her lip as she turned her gaze to his hand and slowly tangled it with her own, looking back up at his eyes with a small, hopeful smile.
