Carrie sat under one of the many willow trees around Hogwarts lake and lent backwards to get herself comfy. She pulled out some parchment from her bag, and started to doodle on it with a smirk. She pushed back the strands of hair falling in front of her eyes, when she noticed a shadow over the page. She looked up to meet eyes with another student, who was standing over her. 'Hey there.' Carrie said grinning.

((Apologies for the slightly odd title - made me laugh! =P)) 'People and patterns.' Carrie said smiling, noticing that that still didn't really answer Kim's question. She held up her parchment to show patterns all around the edges - similar to something you would see on antique wallpaper or carpet. In the middle, there was half a lady with long hair and a dark outfit, her lower body not yet drawn. 'Meh. I like doing pencil drawings when I'm bored, never finish them though.' She added with a small smirk. 'Do you want to sit?-' The Gryffindor asked, budging over slightly to give Kim room to lean against the tree as well. |

((Its a cool title. Made me laugh so i thought id look at it. Just had to reply  )) "Thats really good." she sat down next to her. "I draw sometimes too. Also write things on them, though the writings not exactly normal." She looked at the picture of the woman. "I like it. Though i gotta ask, why dont you finish them off?" |

((Tehee!)) 'I dont know.' Carrie began, as she started to think herself what the reason could be. 'I guess its just because I get bored really easily, so I always have to be changing - whether its the place I'm sitting, the game I'm playing or the picture I'm drawing-' She grinned because she knew how true that was. 'What sort of writing do you add to your pictures?' Carrie inquired, curious about Kim's "not exactly normal" description of them. |

Kim laughed at her question. "Thats is. Its another language. Not normal. Ive come across it in my research but i never found what it was, all i know is its ancient. So not exactly normal" she smiled "I wanna believe its centaur language. Cause i think it would be ace to speak the old centaur but i know its not." she shrugged "Im sure ill find out one day. Anyway.."

'So, you're fluent in an unknown language? Or have you just memorised phrases?' Carrie nodding seemingly impressed. 'Heh, sounds cool to me whatever.' She looked back out at the lake and pulled her cloak more tightly around herself in an attempt to keep all her body heat in.

"Fluent in an unknown language" she laughed. Kim looked across the lake then glanced to the forest. "So what about you? Any hidden talents? Besides quidditch and drawing?"

'Wow.' Carrie said with a chuckle. 'I bet some teacher would be able to help you find what language it is.' The Gryffindor suggested with a shrug, before Kim asked her a question. 'Not so much..' Came Carries reply. '-if I do have any hidden talents, they seem to be remaining hidden to me as well!' She exclaimed laughing.

"I've not asked any of the professors yet. Im not sure i want to incase its something.. well.. in case its something thats not quite right." She laughed "In the history, when harry spoke parseltongue, he got some stick. I dont want that, if you get what i mean"
She heard carries reply. "Well. Everyone has at least one thing they're good at. Cant you think of anything thats.. not remaining hidden?" She laughed again

'I suppose thats true-' She replied thoughtfully. 'But you must be curious to what the language is. Maybe theres some way you could ask a teacher without them knowing that your fluent in it or even that interested in it for that matter?'
Carrie turned some of her attention to thinking of a "hidden talent". 'Well I do love music - singing and playing the guitar. I wouldn't say it a talent though - just something I enjoy!' She said chuckling slightly.

'Yeah its great.' Carrie said with a grin. 'And I think that its made better by the fact I do it for my own enjoyment, rather than for performing or anything.' She added thoughtfully. 'I don't feel pressured then, and can sing any old random thing, whenever I like!' She chuckled. 'Do you have any particular hobbies?'

'Luckily, singing is just a thing you can do anytime and anywhere.' Carrie said smiling. 'Not matter how busy you are.' She added with a almost sad smile. 'Things do get a bit crazy in these later years of Hogwarts, don't they?' The Gryffindor quickly added. 'No time for anything..'
