(LK)Peace and Tranquility

Some of the frost was still thick on parts of the grass and the sun shone down making the tiny dew drops and frost sparkle like little diamonds. The lake was calm and gleaming beautifully as Kim made her way down to the lake.
She opened her book and looked around. There was nobody around. Perfect peace. She flipped to an empty page and began sketching the lake and everything else around it. She had always loved art and found herself completley calm whenever she settled down to draw or create something.
Once she'd finished the sketch she started with the charcoal and other colours. She managed to catch the gleam and everything else perfectly. She used to sit out in the garden and sketch the thick trees behind her home. Her father said it was a worthless talent. Her mother said he didnt understand the beauty of it. Kim didnt care either way. She drew because she liked to. And it was one way to escape her own mind and feelings. She kept on adding things to it as she went along. She didnt even realise that other people were making their way down to the lake, probably to swim.

It was a gorgeous day and Alana was bored with absolutely nothing to do, so she went and sat by the lake. When she got there she saw her friend Kim sitting and drawing. "Hey Kim. What's up?" She asked. "What are you drawing?"

Kim glanced up from her drawing. "Hiya Alana" she carried on with it as she spoke "Just the lake and the surrounding area." she smudged some of the colour to blend it in with another one. "How've you been?"

"Cool. Eh... so so." replied Alana. "You?"

[Kim Rivers]

"Me? Im completley calm" she put her head on her hand and when she moved it she had a charcoal patch on her chin "Ive got charcoal on me havnt i?" she said laughing

Alana laughed. "You are so weird." She said. "But... I'm probably weirder..."

[Kim Rivers]

"I like being wierd.. better than being normal anyway.. what is normal?" she asked laughing trying to get the smudge off but only making it worse. "Fiddlesticks"

"Hehe... true. But you're weird in a good way. Me? Well..."

[Kim Rivers]

"Wierd in a good way to" she said smiling

"Yeah... if you can get past the part about me being Vampire, Siren and Witch. Plus I guess the tiger hair is pretty cool. Hence my nickname." Alana admitted.

"Trust me.. My dad became a werewolf i think my twin sister has too.. Im pretty sure i can get over you being siren/vampire and im a witch too haha" she looked at her hair "Always thought it was cool. Tiger like an all.. whereas mine.. As you can see.. jet black with silver in it for some random reason" then she smiled "Tigeress or something right? Well my family calls me Kimba.. unless you deduct my mother who has to tortue me and call me Kimberley Marie all the time"

Heh. Yeah... I'm Tigress. Wow. Kimberly Marie? Yikes. I love my nickname it's just that half of my friends insist on calling me Chijiresusu, which is Japanese for Tigress. It is actually a pretty cool nickname though."

"Ill agree with you it is real cool. Dekanacc that also means tigeress haha. If anyone calls me Kim, Kimmi or Kimba in front of her.. well she blows up.." she laughed "Her name is not Kim nor is it Kimba or Kimmi! Her name is Kimberley Marie!" she said in a high voice that sounded just like her mother. "She's nuts seriously.. All posh prim and proper. Not a single slang word in her whole vocabulary. And Jayke.. well.. Hes another story"

"How so?" Alana asked curiously

"Strange kid an all love him to bits but... He's not my dads kid and mum wont tell us who his dad is. Slightly animalistic... not saying he's an animal.. i dont know cant explain it.. gotta see the brat to understand"
