(Q)Sanctuary...

[Helia Ollivander]

Helia laid down on the quidditch pitch, slightly tired, and slightly annoyed. Was there no sanctuary left on Hogwarts grounds anymore?! The forest was being haunted by who-knows-what which is causing the cetaurs to try and kill everyone! -the lake is inhabited by a squid that thinks swallowing, annoying, and angering students is a perfectly fine pass-time, and in school... well there was enough drama to fill several new york stages.

She sighed, 'At least the quidditch pitch is still safe' she thought happily as she closed her eyes, jsut listening to the sound of her own breathing, and the occasional natural sounds from outside the stadium. She smiled, 'If only everything could be this serene,' she thought as she rolled over onto her stomach.

[James McFinnigan]

Fin came on the pitch to practice a little bit, when he noticed a girl lying on her stomach. "Hey, whatcha' doin' down there?" he asked. As the girl rolled over, he noticed it was his friend Halo, who he hadn't spent time with in a while. "Oh, hey Halo. Long time no talk...why you lying there just doing nothing?" he asked.

"Where would you suggest lying down and doing nothing?" she asked with a slight smirk. "That forest is off limits, the giant squid wants to kill me and as for in school... HAH!" she laughed. "So I come here and do nothing, and feel much better for it." she nodded. "Join me!" she patted the grass next to her.

[James McFinnigan]

"Sure, why not. But you gotta practice with me after we're done with doing nothing, okay?" he said as he lied down next to her.

[Helia Ollivander]

"Fair enough." she said smiling. "So, how've you been? Except for in classes we haven't gotten to hang out much recently."

[James McFinnigan]

"I've been doing good I guess. I mean, I've been hanging out with Lisa, and she's pretty cool. Me and Jerred aren't on very good terms anymore...and I haven't seen Kim lately, have you?"

[Helia Ollivander]

"No... I haven't. It's starting to worry me." she said making a face. "What happened with you and Jerred though?"

[James McFinnigan]

"Remember when he broke my rib in Defence? That's what happened. And I swear, Chase is getting dumber every time I see him," Fin said. "But I don't want to dwell on my problems. How are things with you?" he asked sincerely.

[Helia Ollivander]

She bit her lip when he mentioned Brian, "Good..." she said slowly. "Well okay. You know... life goes on." she shrugged.

[James McFinnigan]

"What's wrong," he asked concerned. "Did I say something wrong?"

[Helia Ollivander]

She shook her head, "No, no... It's just, Brians had it tough. I just wish people would get off his back every now and then. Give him a break..." her eyes glazed over slightly.

[James McFinnigan]

"...Well, I suppose I could cut him more slack every now and then," he said. "So anyways..." he said, sensing that there would be more drama if he stayed on the subject. Drama was the last thing he wanted at the moment. He just wanted to spend some time with his friend. "What's up with your fluttermouse thing? Any progress with that?"

[Helia Ollivander]

"Well, I got detention and lost forty house points... but it could've been a heckuvalot worse!" she said shaking her head, "But Professor Addis wants me to help him research the spell more, so I'm excited."

[James McFinnigan]

"Wait, what did you get a detention for? And what spell?"

[Helia Ollivander]

"Oh, I guess I didn't quite explain all that the other day did I?" she chuckled, "Well, you know that Exdamentia spell Addis taught us? Well, I used it make the mouserfly-thing... and then got lucky and it became real. The only problem was, Malfoy witnessed it and I got nervous that he'd tattle on me and so I obliviated his memory... thus, I got detention and lost forty hosue points. But, because I was actually able to make the mouse, Addis wants to see what else can be done with it... or some such like that. I'm not really sure, but I'm excited."
