Brian jumped off off his broom high in the sky, then when he reached the quicker falling broom he hopped on and flew around before doing a dove and picked himself up before he hit the ground.

Ashlee flew around the feild at her own pace, sorting out her feelings and thoughts. She occasionally looked down and watched Brian.
