"Jerred broke it in DADA. He also saw it fit to blame me for initiating the fight, even though he's the one who hit me first. After that, he decided it'd be a wonderful idea if he stupified me. You can imagin my dismay when my best friend broke my rib, then knocked me out," he said casually. "Needless to say, we're not that close anymore."

Fin laughed. It was nice to finally spend time with an old friend, no matter what the subject of conversation was. "Sooooo, how's Quiditch going with you? I've been practcing some lately."

Brian walked in and saw Fin and Kim. He knew Fin didn't like him that much so he ordered a butterbeer and was about to sit down when he heard Kim say his name.
