Carrie rolled her eyes at the voice that had joined the conversation. Even though she had only talked to its source on a few occasions, she was now quite accustomed to his snide remarks and knew exactly who it was before even turning round.
'Alright Malfoy?' She asked with an almost teasing small smile, and not quite warmly, as she turned round to face him. Better just to ignore the insults. She thought to herself, learning from past experience.

Lisa had been looking at a lizard-shaped chocolate bar, reading the ingredients deciding whether or not to try white chocolate once more. However, Malfoy's voice broke into her thoughts and she blushed slightly, looking at the little amount of money she was holding before stuffing it back into her pocket and letting out a soft sigh. She turned around, directing a slight frown in Malfoy's direction as Carrie adressed him.

Draco watched Turpin put away her money hastily, a satisfied smirk on his face. Then, he glared at McEwan, remembering her from the corridor.
"Fine." He said shortly, his glare disappearing and his expression turning into one of calm indifference. "Though, Father's given me double the allowance this week-" He picked up another chocolate bar as if to prove his point. "So I can't see how I'd be anything other than fine." He smirked.

'Quite.' Carrie stated watching the slytherin carefully with an odd expression on her face. She was still unsure what to make of him. Glancing apologetically at Lisa, whom was more than uncomfortable with the situation, she turned back to Malfoy.
'Well.' She began, holding up the several chocolate bars she had in her hand. 'We better get paying hadn't we Lisa?' She said nodding her head towards the shop counter.

Lisa put the lizard-shaped chocolate back on the table and looked at the two conflicting characters. Gryffindor and a Slytherin.
"Yeah, we should." She said, gathering the items in her hands before looking at Malfoy with a neutral gaze.
"Hope the rest of your shopping trip is pleasant, Malfoy." She said, before making her way to the line up of excited students all carrying an array of different candy in their hands, their pockets jingling with money ready to be spent.
