Ashlee looked at him, an unsure look on her face. "Everytime I tell people about the real me..." she paused and closed her eyes for a moment the opened them up and continued. "Something bad happens."

Ashlee looked at him. "I-I don't know. Nothing bad happens to the person I open up to tho." she lost her words for a moment. "I just get nightmares that get worse and worse." she didn't know how to explain it without telling him the truth and she didn't know if she could tell him. AJ covered her face in frustration.

She looked at the empty cup of tea and remembered the night it all started. "The summer before my first year here at hogwarts, I watched my grandfather kill his own brother." She looked at him. "My parents had gone to one of my grandmother's social events and left me home with my grandfather and great-uncle Reed. I was upstairs in my room practicing my ballet when I heard them argueing so I headed down the stairs to see what the comotion was about." AJ put her finger on the rim of the cup. "My grandfather saw me and the look he gave me I'll never forget." she paused for a moment. "There was so much sadness in his eyes, like he was asking me to fogive him, then he did an unfogivable curse on my Uncle Reed. He said he planned for me to see it, he started the arguement on purpose cuz he knew I'd come downstairs. I asked him why he did it and all he could tell me was that he had to get away, that my grandmother drove him to do it." she looked at him and smirked. "I was the only witness, I was the one that condemned him to Azkaban... and I was only 11. That's when the nightmares started." she sighed. "That's the story."

AJ looked at his emptying cup. "Do you want some more?" she asked politly.

Ashlee laughed. "Well thank you for sharing that with me." the smile faded from AJ's face and she stared at the wall right behind Brian's head deep in thought.

Ashlee looked at him, that dazed look still on her face. She finally realized she barely had an expression on her face and suddenly smiled, her cheeks going pink. "That would be nice."
