Hiding in the castle's dark shadows, Lisa wandered down the hallways at nearly 3AM in the morning. Her skin was glossy with a thin layer of sweat, and her heart was pounding in her chest.
The nightmares had come once again and wouldn't leave her alone.
Her eyes closed, as she broke out into a run, blaming her horrid mind that produced such terrible dreams on her empty stomach. She had skipped dinner that night, after all, something she hardly did.
She reached the main staircase in the Entrance hall and quickly took the door to her right. Following the long corridor, she kept her eyes on the stone wall, searching for a painting of a bowl of fruit, just as a book she had read in the library instructed.
Finally reaching one she grinned, her nightmares leaving her mind for a moment, and tickled the pear listening to it giggle. Opening the newly formed door, she stepped inside, hoping not to disturb any of the house-eleves too much and quickly grab something to eat.

Fin walked up behind Lisa as quiet as can be, not letting her hear him. Then, he grabbed her hipps with a sharp "Boo!"

Lisa jumped, her eyes widening. She turned around, stunned, her gaze reaching Fin. A grin replaced her look of horror and her heart beat slowly reached back to normal.
"Fin!" She said, a relieved laugh escaping her lips. "You're up late! Feeling a bit hungry as well?"

"No, I just like to follow beautiful girls around at night," he said. "Of course I'm hungry!" He laughed.

Lisa grinned, walking to a nearby table. She waved over at Fin to follow her before sitting down in one of the wooden chairs, her smile still on her face.
"Well, normal people don't usually wake up at 3AM because of their stomach," she said with laughing eyes.

"Well, who says I'm normal," Fin said, winking at Lisa.

Ashlee walked into the Kitchen sleepily, wearing her yellow hoodie and white pajama pants. A house elf came up to her with a tray of chocolate chip muffins and offered them to her. Ashlee gave them a smile, "Thank you." she said sweetly. She went to sit at the table when she noticed she wasn't the only one in the Kitchen. She looked up with the muffin in her mouth and saw Lisa and Fin. AJ gave an embarassed smile.

Lisa was about to reply when the noise of the door opening interrupted her. Surprised, she saw Ashlee walk wearily to the houseelves accepting a chocolate chip muffin, with a smile.
Laughing, Lisa turned back to Fin. "I guess no one's normal around here!" Then, letting her attention drift back to Ashlee, she grinned.
"Weren't kidding when you said you like to eat late, were you?"

Lisa looked over at Fin, offering him a small smile, "Couldn't sleep."

Lisa sighed, her smile fading. The memories of her dreams came crashing back and she looked away, telling herself they were just nightmares. Nothing to cry over.
Then, looking back at the Ravenclaw, she allowed the small smile to creep back onto her face, though it was slightly forced and filled with weary.
"Just nightmares," She replied, holding Fin's gaze, hoping she looked nonchalant.

"Ahhhh, nightmares." Fin looked at Lisa, not wanting to make her feel uncomfortable. "I don't suppose you want to talk about it, do you? I mean, maybe I can help," he said.

The thought of telling someone ran through her mind, and just as she was about to politely refuse his offer, her own advise to Kandler echoed in her ears. Biting her lip, not knowing if she was ready to show such a vulnerable part of herself, she looked away slightly.
"They're- They're just regular nightmares," she said softly, remembering the murky trees of the forest mingled with the smell of blood. Her eyes shut closed tightly. "I've had a few experiences with the forest... They weren't pleasant to say the least. The nightmares are a result, I suppose." She finished with a shrug, knowing they couldn't hurt her.
Not physically at least.
