[C] Thinking

[Ashlee Van Dort]

Ashlee walked around the corridors after her studies. Much was on her mind and she needed to get it all straight. She walked with her head down, much unlike the Head Girl she was. A.J. barely even glanced when younger students bumped into her; not even when Peeves tried to drop an ancient vase on her.

[Ethelion Eriksson]

A paper airplane out of nowhere divebombed peeves. And then it landed calmly on Ashlee's shoulder, gave her a poke, and opened itself. "Great going on the assignment. A butterbeer as a reward is available for you whenever you should chance to drop by my office - Prof Ethelion"

Ashlee laughed. The Professor sure likes to send alot of airplane memos she thought to herself. A.J. neatly folded the memo and placed it in her pocket and continued on her way.

[Lisa Turpin]

Lisa walked down the corridors, eating a bar of chocolate as she did. Her nose was in her latest Transfiguration book as she tried desperately to ready herself for her next lesson. Feeling herself bump into another student, for when reading a book they usually avoided her, she looked up for one brief moment seeing Ashlee walking gloomily.

She hadn't seen the girl very much in her classes and jogged up to catch up with her.

"If you're hoping for some time alone, I can give it to you," she said, handing half the chocolate bar to her fellow Hufflepuff. "Or, you can tell me your problems and we can gossip about them like the girls we are!" She said jokingly, trying to lighten the mood a little.

Ashlee politly accepted the chocolate from Lisa. "No, I'm good. Your welcome to join me if you want." She said smiling.

[Lisa Turpin]

Lisa smiled and closed her book, placing a plain white bookmark at her page. "Transfiguration- Pretty interesting." She said, her eyes following the ground they trudged on.

[Ashlee Van Dort]

Ashlee giggled. "Yeah, it's very interesting. It was my favorite class in my early years here." she shook her head thinking to herself Geeze A.J. you just made urself seem ancient. Ashlee sighed then gave a smile to Lisa.

[Lisa Turpin]

Grinning back, she pulled her book higher as it kept slipping from her grip. "It was mine too, until I almost turned my own nose into ashes." She said, a slight laugh in her words.

"Though, if you ever need a nose job..." She trailed off, her grin broadening.

Ashlee laughed. "I almost did that once, except it was my fathers and I turned it into a carrot... He grounded me for months!"

[Lisa Turpin]

Picturing a grown man with a carrot for a nose was extremely hilarious, and Lisa blinked a couple of times before laughing. "Handy spell though, for when you're hungry." She said, a picture of her own father with a vegetable-like nose entering her mind momentarily.

[Ashlee Van Dort]

Ashlee smiled. "Well my father's a muggle so he didn't take it to well when i ACCIDENTALLY did that. But my mum... now she's a real witch." Ashlee faced Lisa. "You should see the things she's taught me."

[Lisa Turpin]

Lisa smiled back, thinking of her own mother- the middle-aged woman who owned small café near Diagon Alley. Although her mother was never skilled enough to teach her much magic, she had read her many stories, one every night at least, which had all contributed to Lisa's love for reading.

"Sounds interesting," Lisa replied, feeling book slip from her grip once more. Hoisting it under her arm again she sighed. "Must be why you're so good at spells," Lisa said, with a grin. "Me, i'm better at the reading portion of class."

Ashlee smiled and shrugged. "Sometimes the reading is what gets you far."
