Standing there, hidden by his cloaking spell, Jerred heard everything. He felt his innards tighten firmly as he heard Kim's words, and her blushing made it worse for him to accept. Why me? He gasped. He raised his wand and finished the spell, coming into view. He staggered forward his eyes wide and mouth gaping open.
"Helia... I'm sorry." He said, his cheeks burning an intense colour. "Kim... I... man... awkward." He looked at Professor Addis, and sulked. "Sorry, Professor." Genuine concern was in his voice.
