[HW] Kim's Family

[Kim Rivers]

She looked up at Claire. "It wasnt supposed to be you" she glanced back at the professor. She was shaking. She was cracking and she knew it. She forced herself to be strong for way too long. She was very nearly at the edge. It might have shown in her body language, by the fact she was shaking and on the floor. But she forced herself to keep being strong. "Relying on someone.. Depend.. Trust.." She looked at the professor in the eyes and took the wand. She smiled "Thanks"

[Prof Octavious Everritt]

"How does it feel?" Leigh said, his voice barely filtering above a loud whisper. He looked at Kim as she studied his wand.

[Kim Rivers]

"Strange... but oddly comferting at the same time" she put her knees forward and knelt on them. she glanced at her sister, Claire was smiling. Her crazy blue eyes were smiling too. "Y'know Kim." she looked at her "You know what i mean" Kim nodded and glanced at the professor "thanks"

[Prof Octavious Everritt]

Leigh smiled, glad he could help. He looked up behind at the bed and the daunting task of getting back up there. He smiled as he tried, but soon he fell face first into the floor, falling unconcsious.

Kim jumped up. Claire tried to get out of bed "No Claire. Your too weak" she smiled. She bent down and lifted him. Her legs nearly buckled but she managed to keep her footing. She put him on the bed and pulled the sheets around him. She walked away and returned a few seconds later with a bowl of water and a sponge. She put the sponge in the water and drained it before dabbing his forhead with it. "I couldnt have done it without you" Kim said to the unconsious professor. Claire looked at her "Learning to trust people Kim is hard. But you'll get there eventually. You just gotta stop running whenever anyone gets close to you. Stop pushing people away. I know you, not everyone you rely on will let you down. And depending on people doesnt make you weak. Youve always thought that, and thats always been your biggest flaw. Learn to trust and depend on people. Having someone there, to guide you... You need that sometimes" she continued to look at Kim. "Thanks for the pep talk Claire, but im alright"

She smiled watching all of this take place. When Professor Addis collapsed, however, she jumped up and went to the supply closet. She pulled out two potions, one green (which was a magic restorative) and one blue, which would help his body recover from the obviously stessful day he'd had. What all happened she was still fuzzy on, but everyone seemed to have things under control, so who was she to judge? She took a mug from the cabinet as well which she used to mix the potions together with a bit of sugar water. She handed it to Kim, "I think you've got things under control. He's going to sleep for awhile, but make sure he gets at least a couple sips of this in his system." She decided to avoid mentioning anything about her apparent trust issue, as she had always seen Kim as a very trusting person. No matter though, she turned to Claire, "I'm very glad to see you're doing better dear. If either of you ever want someone to talk to about Werewolves, you know where my Office is," she said this carefully, and then exited the Infirmary, not wanting to impose on this group any longer.

[Kim Rivers]

Kim had hold of the vial in her hand "I like her" she turned to Professor Addis. "Right.. well this could be difficult. I hope he doesnt choke or anything." Kim opened his mouth slightly and poured a few drops of the vial into his mouth. "Well, he should be okay, at least until he wakes up." Claire lay back down, her usually white blonde hair, now dirty sprawled over her pillow. "Your doing good Kimba. Great nurse" Kim looked at her "Shut up Claire" Claire laughed "No seriously though, are you going to take my advice?" Kim rounded on her "No. Taking advice from someone who went awol for the past three or four years, who as which, im not even sure if your.. All i know you could be acting on Greybacks orders. And here i am, sure cause for death by helping you!" Claire pulled herself up "God.. You do have issues. Look, our pack, it wasnt in with Fenrir! Ive not even seen him since, well.. And theres no way id do that to you! Do you realise how hard it is? Being a werewolf?" Kim looked at her "No.. but if im not careful" she said mainly to herself, but if anyone was in the room theyd have been able to hear her. "Look, he made a mistake those years ago, i know that and you know that. Fenrir isnt the smartest and he smells blood. And well, since my blood smells like yours. Well do that math Kim" Kim began droplets of water onto the professors head, trying to ignore her sister. "As far as im concerned. His mistake could be his death" Claire lay back down and rolled over so her back was facing Kim. "Maybe if you talk, you wont be so stressed out" Claire added. "I dont want to talk.. Just back off"

[Prof Octavious Everritt]

Leigh opened his eyes with a jolt, and sat up, almost hitting Kim. Leigh felt his stomach churning, and he felt like he was going to throw up. He gagged to his left and felt his stomach contents rush up his throat. As it came out, a small green puff of smoke came out of his mouth, and he burped out a deeper green mist.

He sat up, wiping his mouth to see both girls looking at him. He smiled tentatively at the girls, before swinging himself off the bed and standing, still slightly aching in his joints.

"I'm going to go rest in my own bed." Leigh announced. "Kim, please look after Claire, and Claire look after Kim, make her realise that she has no reason to fear you." Leigh said before walking around and leaning into Kim's ear to whisper to her, "Look after her like you would an animal only if she tries anything. You have my wand, use it if need be."

[Kim Rivers]

Kim jumped back when he unexpectadly sat up. She ended up falling on the edge of her sister bed. "Look after her like i would an animal? I kill my goldfish!" she announced. Claire smiled "Ill look after her. Its not me she fears." Kim looked strait into her eyes. "Bye professor. Fell better soon" Claire said to him "And thanks for not completley annihalting me in the forest" she laughed

[Prof Octavious Everritt]

"It's alright Claire, save your strength. Remember one thing both of you, take care of each other." Leigh said, as he prepared to leave. He turned back and looked at the twins and saw both their eyes watching him with unease. "Stay alive Claire, and give Kim strength."

[Kim Rivers]

Kim raised an eyebrow at him. "Riiiight" She turned and went to get her sister some water. "Ill do my best to stay alive. Though, giving Kim strength, thats going to be harder" she smiled.

[Prof Octavious Everritt]

"Just do what you can." Leigh said as he left the room. On his way out he suddenly ran into a student. He looked down at the fallen boy and helped him up, realising it was none other than Jerred Boneman.

[Jerred Boneman]

"Sorry, Professor!" Jerred said as he turned and ran past the professor. He came into the room and saw Kim tending to a girl who looked like her, sort of.

"Kim?" Jerred said, his eyes full of concern. He walked into the room hesitantly.

Kim was leant over Claire, giving her some water and making her drink that potion that professor didier gave her. She frowned a little but didnt stop. Claire clearly hated it but she had to drink it. She turned at the sound of someone saying her name. "Jerred? What are you doing here?" she didnt want anybody to know her sister was here yet.

[Jerred Boneman]

"I was in search for you. I just wanted to know you were ok..." Jerred said from the doorway, feeling like she didn't really care for him at that moment. "Is there anything I can do for you?"
