[HW] The Squid attack- wounded Keifer, L.C's shock

"Help, there are others on the way" L.C stated as she started hyperventelating she was going through... shock.

[Apronia Silvanus]

Apronia stumbled through the doors of the infirmary. Even with a Weightless Charm, Keifer was still a heavy burden for her small frame. She deposited him carefully on a hospital cot and called for Cashew.

"Cashew! Cashew!" she flicked her wand over Keifer, checking his lungs, which thankfully were not full of lakewater. "Where is that damnable nurse?!" She heard LC begin to go into hysterics and cursed.

[Keifer Brently]

Keifer lay on the bed. He was still unconcious. He would have a real bad headache tomorrow. Stupid squid!!!

L.C's hyperventilating got even worse as she saw Apronia carry keifer's unconcoius body in. she Fell down onto the ground sobbing, which only made it harder for her to breath.'Know he can't, it can't happen, not again' she thought

(OOC: you know, the nurse hasn't been around for ages. I think we don't have one anymore. I'm going to godmod, and if it turns out that Cashew is still around, she can smack me.) (( We've revived her ))

Cashew thankfully bustled out of her office moments later and took over Keifer's treatment.


Apronia turned to LC, sitting her down on a bed and gripping her face. "Ms. Mericcini, you are uninjured and Keifer will survive. What is the matter?" she recognized the signs of shock, wrapped a blanket around the girl's shoulders, and continued her attempts to get LC to speak to her.

L.C's crying just got worse and worse. "It can't happen again" she whispered to Apronia her sad eyes deeply focusing into those of the older woman.

Apronia carefully brushed a strand of hair out of the girl's face.

"What can't happen again, Lauretta?" she kept her voice carefully neutral and warmed the girl's hands between her own.

"I really care about him you know, I might care for him as much as I did DJ, and with my luck he's going to die just like DJ did." she said as her head fell down because she was ashamed of her tears.

[Apronia Silvanus]

Apronia cupped her face, wiped her tears away with a thumb.

"How did DJ die?" she asked very softly.

[Professor Lauretta Mericcini]

"In a car accident, but that doesn't matter the only thing that matters is that I was there and it was my fault, we were gonna runaway together" L.c said abruptly pausing to look over at Keifer then back at Apronia. "My dad didn't well... approve of him because he was a muggle, but Dj was the first muggle I ever trusted since the murder" she finished not moving her head away from Apronia's warm hands.

[Keifer Brently]

Keifer regained conciousness. "L.C. Dont... blame yourself.. He wouldnt.." He smiled at her "And dont worry... about me... ill be fine, just look after... yourself" he closed his eyes. He was quite sleepy. "Squids..."

"Lauretta, he's right. It wasn't your fault. Nor was this. Keifer will be fine."

[Professor Lauretta Mericcini]

"I think he's dillusional, maybe if he was in his right state of mind he would tell me the truth" L.C said, not believing his words.

[Keifer Brently]

Keifer kept his eyes closed and laughed as he was getting healed. "I will be fine. Im in.. The best hands... And DJ wouldnt blame you... for what happened." Keifer shut up, he didnt want to say anything else incase her touched a nerve.

[Apronia Silvanus]

"He's not delusional, Lauretta. He is merely exhausted after his ordeal. And I repeat, this is not your fault. The Giant Squid is perfectly capable of his own mischief. Why don't you go down to the kitchens and get some dinner and cup of cocoa? Keifer simply needs to rest."
