Dr Bunchington watched as Jerred left the room. He could feel his hands shaking already. He felt weak and old. He of course was both but liked to deny it. He crossed to the shelf at the side of the room and took down a bottle of silver coloured liquid. He poured a trickle into a tea cup and drank it savouring every last drop.
