(H)Snow Angel

[Kim Rivers]

The streets of hogsmede were a white sheet of snow. It crunched under her feet as she walked. She got to the end of the street but carried on walking. She walked up a hill and over the other side. She lay down in the snow and did a sort od star-jump-lay-down thing. She stood up and looked at what she had done. She smiled. Snow always brought out the kid in her. She sat down next to it. Smiling and feeling very happy.

"Kim!" she said excitedly when she saw her friend. She had been walking down to Hogsmeade to the three broomsticks to get some more wand reading in, but decided that she ought to tell her friend about her plan. "Hey, guess what!" she said sitting down beside Kim in the snow.

[Kim Rivers]

"Helia!" she stood up and gave her friend a hug "Ive not seen you in ages! Guess... erm... i dont know tell me" she got all exited

[Helia Ollivander]

"I'm trying to make you a new wand." she said with a big grin, "I mean, for this I'm going to go through all the proper procedures and ask Professor Wigglyfish if it's okay and everything, but Professor Moncrieff let me check out the books for it and I think I can make you one... once I get permission and all that but, I just thought you'd like to know."

[Kim Rivers]

Kim stood and gawped at her. "Wow, thats... wow" she was lost for words "You really are smart!" she smiled, her smile widened and she began doing a little dance type thing. "thank you!" she stopped dancing "Thats really great. What made you decide to do that?" She was intrigued

[Helia Ollivander]

"Well, when my wand was broken by that centaur in the woods, I could almost feel my heart break... Isn't that cheesy?" she chuckled slightly. "But then I remembered about your wand... So I went back to the corridor where everything happened to see if I could find any remnants of it that could be repaired. There weren't any and so I could only imagine what it must've been like..." she shrugged. "Well, anyways, I'm sure you've heard that I got swallowed by the giant squid in the lake, and if you haven't, well now you have. Anywho, in its stomach I found the remnants of some other poor students wand and I thought I could dissect it and figure out how to make you one." she took a deep breath, "Well, later Professor Algernon and I got into a discussion about holly and its divinational properties and why its used for wands, so I asked him if I could check out the books about wands that are in the restricted section of the library and he said yes. So, that's what I've been working on lately." she smiled. "What do you think?"

"When mine was broken... granted it was in a good thing but.. i felt like id lost a part of me or a part of me seemed to have died. Haha ive been wandless for weeks but i can do a little wandless magic so ive been alright." She turned around "I guess, when you buy a wand, you sort of get an emotional bond dont you? I mean... the wand chooses the wizard, that cant be faked." She took a couple of steps forward, stopped and turned to Helia. "I guess, wands are like people... A person gets attached to a wand just as much as a person... except a wand is meant to be forever, sort of marital. So yeah... it did hurt when i realised it was gone. Though i think i did well to hide it. Haha" she shrugged and laughed "But... how the hell did you manage to get swallowed by the squid? It sorta waved... or i think... though possibly wasnt it but, i was out one day and i saw a big.. tentacle.. it sorta swayed like in a wave. But swallowed? How? When? and why?"

[Helia Ollivander]

"The squid was dancing in the water, and it seemed like it was asking me to come play with it or something... After I swam around for awhile I got tired and started treading water and I tried to talk to the squid, but the it dragged me under the water and swallowed me. Why? I doubt I'll ever know." she chuckled. "But I'm okay now, and I now know not to trust a squid." she laughed.

"Yeah.. never trust ugly things.. or slimy things.. or hairy" she laughed "Or certain people" she added. Harshness coming into her voice. She smiled at Helia and began roling a body for a snow man.

[Helia Ollivander]

She raised an eyebrow. 'I sure hope I'm not in trouble', she thought, and then began to help Kim with the snowman. "So... what certain people have gotten under your skin lately?" she asked, slighlty worried.

[Kim Rivers]

She looked at her "Oh.. dont worry its not you. Or Brian, or Fin, Or Jerred... Its not even Malfoy." she looked around "He's just been twittering on about such and such. Saying this and that... I argue with him all the time... he just gets under my skin sometimes. Dont get me wrong, i dont hate him or anything like that. There are certain times im really glad for his company. Sometimes im not. Sometimes i dislike him... a lot but i know he dislikes me too. But it doesnt matter, my problem ill deal" she said smiling

She laughed, "That was so confusing it somehow made sense." she shook her head and stacked her snowball on top of Kims larger one.

"I'd tell you who i mean" She said sticking some stones on the snowmans head to make a face "But knowing my luck he's probably lurking around a corner somewhere" On the snowmans chest she used her finger to inscribe the letters S and R. Underneath that she wrote her name and helias name on it. She took her robe and scarf off and put them on the snowman. "Ever made a snow angel?"

"Of course!" she laughed and flopped onto her back, then got curious, "Who is 'S.R.'?" she asked cautously

She looked at her strangely "Slytherin and Ravenclaw" she flopped onto her back aswell and made another snow angel next to her other one. "Im going crazy" She laughed
