(H)Winter Breeze

[Kim Rivers]

Kim had just about all she could take cooped up in a very hot school. It was cold outside. The brisk air whipped across her face and made buzzing noises in her ears. She preferred the outdoors to indoors, and she definatly preferred the quiet nights to the noisy days. The breeze caught her but it didnt bother her, normally she wouldnt have even conteplated the idea of leaving the castle without a scarf of at least gloves. Strictly cold day. No heat.

She walked down the street as the groups of students passed by in their groups. Laughing and joking. She smiled, she liked other people being happy. Strange, coming from a Slytherin granted. She sometimes wondered if she belonged there.. Or here for that matter. She pushed that thought out of her head and headed for a table outside a nice little coffee shop.

[Brian Chase]

"Hey Kim." Brian said walking around trying to keep warm.

[Kim Rivers]

"Hey Brian. You alright? You look kinda cold" she asked as s stared half heartedly up and down the streets.

[Helia Ollivander]

"Looking for someone?" she asked emerging from one of the stores and seeing her friends. She reached up and gave Brian a quick kiss before returning her attention to Kim.

[Kim Rivers]

"No.. Not looking" Kim answered. "Just had to get away... Been kinda away-with-the-faeries sort of thing lately." She looked at Helia and Brian "Whatever" she half smiled.

[Helia Ollivander]

She shrugged and rolled her eyes innocently, "You sure? You seem kind of stressed, let me treat you to a coffee." she smiled broadly, "What'll you take?"

[Kim Rivers]

"Stressed? Me? No! Never!" she said sarcastically. "Sorry didnt mean to bite your head off. Having a rough time at the minute. Sure ill have a coffee" she thanked her and pointed to the benches infront of her. "Sit down if you like.. Or you two heading somewhere... Somewhere" she said

[Helia Ollivander]

"Not going anywhere," she said cheerily, "In fact I'm kind of surprised to find you all here, but very glad for it. It's been a while since we've all gotten to hang out together."
She walked over and ordered them all some coffee, handed it out and sat down, "So what's been going on with you lately?"

[Kim Rivers]

"Long story. Stressing me out. People telling me what to do. .Not good. You?" she asked them both "Or do i need to ask?" she grimaced "Im sorry" she moaned "Being a tad snippish and becoming a total ass like Malfoy himself... No fun" she smiled. "So, what have you been doing?"

[Helia Ollivander]

She eyed Kim carefully, "I've mostly been working on your new wand," she took a sip of coffee, "I'm meeting Wigglyfish later to put all the enchantments on it. I am curious though, what's your favorite animal?"

[Kim Rivers]

She smiled "Thats an easy question! Wolf" she answered "Siberian white wolf really, but i love any wolf" she smiled

[Helia Ollivander]

"Cool!" she smiled, "Seems like a fitting core for you..." she said dazing slightly, "Anyways. I don't think you could ever be as..." she had to think for a moment to find word that fit Malfoy, without being particularly rude in case there were any professors around, "Awkward..." she stated finally, "...as Malfoy."

[Kim Rivers]

"That translated as in Malfoys a bit prat. And an ass. Me becoming very snappy, especially with professor Addis... No change there though. I am becoming an ass, intolerable one at that." She waved her hand infront of her face "Id trow myself over a cliff before i became a total prat though.. Ill be me again soon" She smiled "And a wolf is fitting how? Saying im wolf-like?" she asked, seriously, though she tried to make it sound like a joke, and she did a pretty good job.

[Helia Ollivander]

"I'm saying wolves are strong and loyal to their kind and need each other to survive. You, similarly, are strong and loyal to your friends, and whether you like it or not, you know deep down that you need us." she said teasingly.

[Kim Rivers]

The words were truth and she knew that. "Yeah i know. I need all of you, but loyal? Isnt that the same as truthful? And truth being telling the people your close to everything? And when they ask if your alright? You tell them strait out if you are or not? Well then, ive really not been loyal." She confessed to Helia and Brian "The real only wolf-like thing about me is my animalisms. And the only thing i share with the wolves are family" She glanced at them both "Did that last part sound like a riddle?"
