Professor Addis strode into the room, the students suddenly calming themselves as he entered. He watched them all, seeing that they were behaving themselves. He smiled, before speaking. "Welcome, everyone."

[Gaia DeBoer]

Gaia sat towards the back. Who were all these people? Did they care that she didn't know them or anything about them. She was so used to a different sort of lifestyle.
Another question popped into her head: Do they know who i am? Did they read muggle newspapers? She was horrified by the thought.

Smiling, Leigh heard the intense quiet of the room. "Good. You listen. 40 points to Hufflepuff." He said.

Tif came down the stairs from the dormitory and sat down to listen. She waited and listened contenly as the Head of Hufflepuff spoke. She sat with her mouth partly open.

[Prof Grace Marks]

Grace watched her house listening to the prof. They soaked up his every word. The girls wipered to each other and the guy, well they did what most guys would do during these sort of 'gatherings'. Grace moved around the walls of the common room looking for an open seat or somewhere to stand when someone grabbed her arm.

[Henry Boggleworth]

Boggleworth saw Grace in the common room he crept quietly up to her he wanted to scare her just a little and get his own back for her scaring him in the Great Hall so he grabbed her arm and he also wanted to talk to her about a class...

[Girty Hubbles]

Girty looked around the room. She was sitting cross legged on the floor and knew very few people around her. Then out the corner of her eye she noticed Grace and Bog. Slowly raising to her knees, not wishing to disturb the Professor, Girty crawled behind some chairs to try and reach them.
As she reached her target she pulled on Bogs robes to try and get his attention.

[Henry Boggleworth]

Boggleworth felt a slight tugging on his robes he turned around slowly and saw Girty just as he had expected as nobody else that he could think of would suddenly tug on his robes
"Hey Girt how are ye? Does the floor need a clean or something? why are you crawling along on the floor, the prof won't notice or care!" Boggleworth said heartily making no effort to keep his voice low

[Prof Grace Marks]

Grace whirled around, wide eyed and tense. Then she relaxed, "Oh Bog, it's only you! You gave me a fright!" She saw Girty, "Hi!" Then curiously looked at Bog, "d'you mind?" She indicated her arm, "I'd like it back, if it's not too much trouble!"

[Henry Boggleworth]

"hey...oh yeah right sorry! it's all yours!" Boggleworth grinned "although it's a good arm, I'd rather keep it!" Boggleworth joked but he let it go anyway

[Prof Grace Marks]

Grace smiled at Bog, then gestured to Leigh, "what's he going on about now? It's not another 'no more socks hidden in the common room' speeches, is it?"

[Henry Boggleworth]

chuckling Boggleworth said "aye probably though I obviously haven't been listening to him!"

[Girty Hubbles]

Girty was still on her hands and knees looking up at her two friends. As she looked to her left she saw a piece of parchment. As she picked it up it seemed to be blank so stuffed it into her pocket.

Slowly she stood up and looked towards the Professor, then leaning towards the other two.
"Maybe if we smile at him he will give us extra house points?"

"Smile nice and wide for both of us, Girt," Grace said with a slight giggle.

[Girty Hubbles]

Stupidly Girty took it seriously and stood there with the silliest grin on her face. Only after a few seconds her face began to hurt.
